"Kara! Kara! Kara! Kara! KARA!!!" The crowd chanted over and over as Kara Demoinys bowed a few times.
"Thenk you, ladies and gents! And now it's time to bring out the winner of my Fan Stardom Contest. Here she is, ready to kick-start her career; Tina!" Kara clapped and welcomed Tina as she moved offstage to let Tina have the floor.
Tina slowly walked out onto the stage. "Thank you, Kara. Sorry, everybody, if I sound a little off-key. I'm kind of nervous." The crowd chuckled.
Clearing her throat, she began to sing.

Tina's eyes scanned the crowd, then sighed with relief as her new fans erupted with applause, screams and shrieks, and the chanting of her name over and over. Walking backstage, she was given more gentler applause from the crew.
Kara approached and said, "You're in the biz now. Did you write those lyrics yourself?"
"No, a friend wrote them for me. She really wants to be a professional songwriter. We made a pact when we were little that we would help each other reach our dreams in any way."
"Well, she's your official songwriter now. Your dream came true, so hers should too." Kara extended her hand and waited patiently.
Tina shook Kara's hand, a sign of agreement as well as a sign of a new friendship.
Tina listened as the phone rang. Hearing a female pick up and say, "Hello?" Tina asked if Jenna was available.
There was a moment's pause before Jenna spoke. "Hey Tina, how was the concert?"
"Everyone loved me. But not only me, they loved your lyrics. I haven't reached home yet, but you better be there wating, so the whole world will know you are my writer." Tina was sipping a thin, slender glass of champagne as she spoke on the phone.
