At first she thought she would be okay in the hospital, because of her gifts. She never thought she would lose all her friends.
Part 1- "It's only at the beginning, Saira."
Part 2- The Party Goes Wild
Part 3-
Saira- A parentless young woman who has the ability to interact with ghosts.
Tayrieth- Saira's best friend and inheritor of an insane asylum/hospital that was originally owned by her father, who was killed in an automatic shutdown that traped everyone in the hospital while the "patients" ran loose.
Keroth- A handsome young man who holds a secret passion for Saira, though she doesn't know it while she holds one for him.
Caden- Tayrieth's boyfriend, and a very good friend, can see but not interact with ghosts like Saira.
Jaden- Caden's twin borther who can hear ghosts but not interact with ghosts like Saira.
Zoeyth- Jaden's girlfriend, the only one friend of Saira's who can hold her own in a spar against Saira. Also Tayrieth's sister.
Mykenna and Kyranna- Caden and Jaden's twin sisters, Mykenna can touch and Kyranna can see, hear, and touch the ghosts.
Saira was down in her basement working out really hard, pushing her body to its limit. She was cooling off when her phone rang. Picking it up, she heard her friend Tayrieth sobbing and crying. "Tay, chill out, sis. Now, tell me what is wrong?"
"Saira, do you remember that my father was killed in that hospital's automatic lockdown?" Tayrieth couldn't seem to get a breath between sobs.
"Yeah, Tayrieth .What about it?" Saira did some meditational breathing to keep herself from exploding at her dearest friend.
"Well, it seems that it belonged to him. and in his will he left it to me. I'm scared of the place, but if I can remodel it, I could probably sell it away. I know it's infested with the ghosts of the doctors and patients, but I don't want to call TAPS and have them come check it out. And you can interact with the ghosts of the place and chill them out, because I'm certain that they are mad that they are trapped in there, so they are probably violent. And I would really appreciate it if you went in there with the others and calmed down the ghosts. Please, will you help me out?" Now that Tayrieth began to calm down, she was acting her normal anxious self.
Saira sighed. "How long do you want me to stay up there?"
"Just for the weekend. And like I said, the others are coming to help out and so you be too bored."Tayrieth had a tone of voice that Saira did not notice. Her mind shot to another realm.
That means Keroth will be there to help, Saira thought quickly. She held a typical teenager's crush for him, and while she had a strong feeling he ahd one for her too, she wasn't wuite sure. She took a deep breath to hide her happiness. "okay, Tay. I'll go out there and calm those ghosts down for you."
"Oh, my gosh. Thank you! you are such a lifesaver! I've got to go nd tell the others! Thanks again. Bye!" and Tayrieth hung up the phone before Saira could say good-bye back.
Saira put the phone on its charger when a familiar sensation began creeping foward. She walked back over to her punching bag and started up her fitness routine until the sensation went away.
Once it was gone, she went upstairs to the second floor bathroom and took a long, hot shower. After she got out, Saira went into her bedroom, also on the second floor, swiftly changed into jeans and a wide-strap tank top, and went down to the kitchen to make some dinner.
Downstairs she opened the fridge and scanned the options. What to eat, what to eat, she thought as she perused the food. Finally selecting a medium-largish piece of venison, half an onion, red, green, and yellow bell peppers, and some eggs, she shut the fridge door with her foot and set the items on the marble counter. Then moving over to the pantry, she selected some long grain wild rice and some herbal rice. Taking out a pot, the rice cooker, and a pan, she started the rice in the cooker, the venison in the pan, and some tea in the pot.
While cooking, Saira began singing under her breath some songs that her aunt taught her to help anger and "verge-of-pyschoness."

Taking the pot of tea off its burner and turning that off, she set the pot aside to steep. Then finishing up the rice and other ingredients and mixing them together with some soy sauce, she put it in a big bowl and took it into the living room along with some bowls and spoons and forks. Going back into the kitchen and getting some wine coolers and taking those out to the kitchen and putting them into a miniature fridge, she then went into the bathroom on the ground floor and looked herself over before, after deciding herself inappropriate, going back upstairs to her room and changing into a more revealing spaghetti-strap tank top. Going back downstairs, she answered the door after the first bell rung.
She opened the door to find her favorite set of twins, Caden and Jaden, standing there, looking all sharp for their girlfriends. "Hey, Saira. Nice top." They said in unison before entering and going into the living room and settling on their self-claimed spots. Tayrieth and her not-so-twin sister Zoeyth came up and walked in, saying hi as they passed. Tayrieth gave Saira and big blooming smile before settling on Jaden's lap as Zoeyth sat down on Caden's.
Then Mykenna and Kyranna, Caden and Jaden's younger twin sisters, came up and said hi and gave a hug to Saira before going in and into the living room and making themselves a good-sized portion of fried rice. "Rockin', Saira! We love your rice!" They said in unison just like their brothers.
Saira went back into the kitchen to mix the tea. The doorbell rang again. "Got it, Sai. Keep mixing." Tayrieth called. Trying to keep her mind off of guessing who it was, she didn't notice Keroth come in and walk up behind her.
He put his arms around her and whispered in her ear, " I like you, Saira. I really do."
She loosened his grip to turn but not break away. "I like you too, Keroth. I always have since we met. But everyone tells me that we aren't good for each other. I mean, they don't flat out say it, but---"
Keroth stopped her short by leaning in and kissing her lightly. She basically melted into him, moaning and he sucked on her bottom lip and she let him in deeper into her mouth. Then she broke away, looking out of it. "Keroth, I'm not sure what just happened, but what is going to go on from now.?"
"I don't know, babe. But I know I love you, Saira, and I want to be your man." He smiled gently down at her. He was 6'11", and she was only about a foot shorter.
"But what are people going to say?" Saira looked up at him with a strange mix of emotions in her eyes.
"It's only at the beginning. Why should we care what people think about us being together. It's not their business." And he kissed her again, just like before.
After a few minutes, she broke away again. "I need to mix this tea. Go sit in the living room. I'll be there in a minute." She kissed him on the cheek before he left. Slowly mixing the tea in its jar, she muttered, "What do I do, Mom? What the hell am I going to do?"
"Go out with him. He's lost his father, just like you've lost me. He needs the love of a gentle caring woman. And he knows about your gift, so you're not hiding anything." The voice came from in her head, which was how she conversed with spirits. "I have to go, kiddo. But love him as much as you and your father love me."
Pouring herself a glass of tea, she went into the living room. Seeing everyone so happy, an idea came to her. "Hey, guys. Let's hold a party, with music and everything."
Mykenna spoke, breaking the silence that followed Saira's suggestion. "Great idea, Saira! We each have lots of friends that could probably come." Kyranna glared at her sister.
Then Keroth spoke up. "I'm for it, guys. Saira would be a great hostess for a party." He smiled at her, and they held each other's eyes for a moment before Saira directed her attention to a talking Tayrieth.
"Let's do it. Saira, me and the girls are raiding. We can't party in this." Tayrieth, Zoeyth, Mykenna, and Kyranna all ran upstairs to raid the sexy dancing part of Saira's closet.
"Boys, can you get the rest taken care of, like drinks?" The guys nodded and agreed. "Thanks. I need to go change too." Saira swiftly moved upstairs to her room, only to find everything of her partying clothes all over the floor. "Girls, you're cleaning this up. You know that, right?" Saira began shifting through her clothes on the floor. "Okay, now where's my soft leather black bustiere and black mini skirt? And my combat boots?"
"Saved in the drawer, Sai. Knew you'd want to wear it. Kyranna almost snagged that particular skirt, but I changed her mind with a different one." Tayrieth called from the walk-in closet.
Keroth suddenly called a little too close the bedroom. "Hey, babe. Jaden took the main floor bathroom, so I need to use this one up here. That ok?"
"Shit" Tayrieth hissed as Saira called back, "Okay. I'll be downstairs when you get out." She lowered her voice as she changed into her outfit. "Guys, what would you say if me and Keroth were together now?"
Everyone fell silent except for Zoeyth, who said, "You guys are cute together."
Saira changed quickly and stood before her full-length mirror next to her second desk that was covered in make-up and jewelry boxes. putting titanium hoops in all the holes in her ears (a total of four on the lobe and five in the cartilidge on either ear), some light gloss and shadow, and for the finale she put on her mother's platinum on a black leather cord Wiccan pendant. "I'm ready, so I'm going to help the guys get ready. Clean up and come down when all of you are done."
Saira left her room and bumped into Keroth. They went down together holding hands. The front door bell rang and the other boys called from the kitchen that they were cooking. Keroth went to help/command and Saira opened the door for her first and best party.
